As AppCard expands its services and integration efforts, we’re seeking a Backend Developer to join our NYC-based team. This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing our platform, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value to our users and clients. Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions; participate in design and architecture reviews; troubleshoot and resolve high-level systemic issues; collaborate cross-functionally; bring in new technologies and frameworks. Skills and Qualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-performance distributed systems; expert in Python; experienced with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL); knowledge of Java is a plus; strong problem-solving and documentation mindset; ability to lead projects independently.
